Investing for our customers

We’re investing £2bn in customer service over the next two years. All in the UK. We want everyone who uses Vodafone to know that there will always be someone on the other end of the line who can help, listen to their issues and deal with everything in a friendly and efficient way.

We believe that our UK customers want to speak to a team based in the UK. That’s why we’re creating over 2,100 UK jobs in customer service. And in 2017, we intend to hire over 500 people to work at our customer centre in Wythenshawe, Manchester, as Customer Service Advisers and Customer Retention Advisers.

 
 

More than a hero

That’s where you come in. Because we don’t just hire anyone for our customer service and retention teams, we need people that can be a hero for our customers, ensuring they have the best possible deal for them, dealing with their problems over the phone and solving them quickly.

As a Customer Service Adviser, you’ll be more than a problem solver: a great communicator who deals with often worried people in a calm, friendly manner that ensures they end the call feeling happy and positive.

You’ll probably have some experience in a customer service environment, be that waiting on tables, working in a shop or a job within a call centre. You’ll get a buzz from being the person who can save the day and reassure customers that everything will be all right.

As a Customer Retention Adviser, you’ll have the drive to meet your targets by having the ability to ask the right questions so that our customers choose the right product. Your tenacity and resilience will be rewarded with a competitive bonus structure that rewards you for your hard work.

Previous sales experience isn’t required, just the right attitude and ambition.
